named and compressed 55 new images for the ceramic gallery. added all new ceramic images to gallery. replaced 'home' with a photo of my studio recently. updated navigational icons in the gallery list. 8 november 2025// updated all galleries. added photography gallery, removed traditional art from the sculpture gallery as I don't plan on including it in the future, linked my 21 day project, updated my artist statement with the new one i had to write for class, figured out the justify-content tag for .css finally... oh my god its actually presentable now i just have to make icons for my gallery links now because i don't like the lures anymore and then its actually something i will want to show people in a more professional sense (or as professional as i will ever be as a person lol) oct - 8 nov 2025// revamped the layout for my gallery pages completely for ease of access and updating going forward. pruned my digital art gallery. 9 october 2025// scrapped major pix section d/t semester starting and the fact that it doesn't really fit the mood of the page despite how much i do love my dog. debating removing the waterlogging. 10 september 2025// scrapped writing portfolio bc most of my writing is essays and i don't think people really care about those lol. updated trad. port. with a new sketchbook page and fixed some minor things on the page. 04 september 2025// animation portfolio, traditional art portfolio, and ceramics portfolios finished!!! holy shit i've been doing this all day long i have a mega headache what the hell. researching formatting for writing portfolio 03 september 2025// format search successful and digital art portfolio finished!! (aside from the information about each piece because thats going to take a million years and I just don't want to do that right now.) I did this while watching Zoolander for the first time at the ceramic studio while we finished a firing in the gas kiln lmao. 02 september 2025// pt.2 i got the home page finished!!! holy shit that took way too long, but i did it! now i really have to lock in on making the portfolio sites, god wish me luck :P i lied on 13 august, i didn't finish the main page text at all lol, i just thought i would. adjusted the color scheme, favicons, and nav. bar. rethinking formatting and doing research on how tf to make good html galleries for seperate portfolios. 13 august 2025// finished main page text 22 june 2025// added color, made pixel bg & header, added in content (slow leak: melon king, icons: pixelsea, clock: timeanddate.com), began putting info in 21 june 2025// worked on custom color palete 03 june 2025// deleted everything and started over: clean slate

artist statement
My work is a stylized exploration of my emotional processing relayed through graphic depictions of the human form and the world around me. The human form functions as a neutral, manipulable slate in my work; a universal signifier of consciousness and something to project emotion onto as a means of communication. By bastardizing the humanity of a figure, I am able to externalize the corruption, discomfort, unrest, and incompatibility of personhood with the world, while also aligning the human form with replications of itself.
I use color to influence emotion, rather than realistically render figures. I put focus on specific warm-toned color pallets, light sources, and environmentally naturalistic elements that often juxtapose feelings of fleshiness in renderings of the human body. As a multimedia artist, I believe the physicality of my work is crucial for personal enjoyment and expression, while the tone and mood of the end product is what leaves a lasting impression on the viewers. Through ceramics, digital art, and mixed media sculpture my work acts as kindling, fueling sparks of personal recognition and kinship in the inhuman and uncanny. Humanity is heavily flawed, easily corrupted, and comes coupled with a sense of incompatibility with the natural world. In contrast, the natural world is ineffable and inherently beyond morality. The stark contrast between humanity and nature makes rendering the two alongside one another enjoyable; a reconciliation between a person, their humanity, and the world around them.
